Who We Are

We help individuals, teams, and their leaders stop outsourcing wellbeing and start owning it. Through trauma-informed tools and honest, no-fluff support, we make mental health care a daily act of leadership, not a crisis response. We imagine a world where caring for others never means abandoning yourself and where mental health & trauma informed  responsive care is seen as essential infrastructure for strong leadership, teams, services, and systems.

Our Team:

We’re not a generic consultancy. We’re a multicultural, multi-disciplinary team of frontline professionals with over 30 years’ combined experience.

  • Public & Global Health
  • Protection & Safeguarding (PSEA)
  • Gender-Based Violence (GBV)
  • Sexual & Reproductive Health & Rights (SRHR)
  • Migration & Human Rights Law

At iEQ, we don’t just care, we believe care is a system and one you can design to best support yourself and others.

Let us help you build it.

We Understand the Weight You Carry, We’ve Carried It Too.

At Inner Equilibrium (iEQ), we draw from trauma-informed care (TIC) practice, Mental health & Psychosocial Support & Emergency Response principles and psychological expertise to guide our services. Our work is deeply rooted in compassion, safety, and awareness of how mental health, stress and trauma affect individuals, communities and systems.

However, it's important to note that we are not a therapy or crisis service. We do not provide clinical mental health treatment. Instead, we focus on prevention, psychoeducation, and capacity building helping individuals, leadership and organisations better understand trauma support and response in addition to improved mental health & well-being.

When needed, we are happy to refer to trusted therapeutic professionals for more specialised care. This approach ensures we stay in our zone of excellence while upholding the integrity and safety of those we partner with.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Who do you work with?

We work with healthcare and protection systems, humanitarian agencies, NGO's and academic institutions, as well as the individuals within them. Whether you're leading teams or working on the frontline, we offer tailored support grounded in the realities of high-stress, high-impact roles. If that is you, our services are designed with your reality in mind.

Do you offer tailored programmes or only pre-designed ones?

We offer both. Our consultancy delivers custom solutions based on your team’s needs, challenges, and goals. We also offer scalable, evidence-informed models for organisations seeking a starting framework in MHPSS and trauma-informed practices.

What is MHPSS,  trauma-informed care & response (TIC)?

Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) addresses the emotional, psychological, and social well-being of individuals and communities. Trauma-Informed Care & Response is a guiding framework that recognises and responds to the effects of trauma. Our approach integrates both, promoting not just short-term support, but sustainable healthy outcomes at individual, team and system levels.

Where do you offer your services — online, or in-person?

Our services are primarily delivered online for global accessibility. However, we do offer in-person assessments, workshops, and trainings on request, depending on location and scale.

How do I know if your services are right for me or my organisation?

If you or your team works in high-pressure or trauma-exposed environments, and you're looking to improve personal, staff wellbeing, reduce burnout, embed trauma-informed practices, or build MHPSS capacity then our work is for you. Book a free discovery call to assess your fit. (*We are not a Clinical Counselling /Therapy Service)

What does it cost to work with you?

Pricing varies based on the type of service, team size, and delivery method. We offer flexible models from one-off trainings to long-term consultancy. Contact us to discuss what works for your budget and goals.

iEQ's mission is simple: to bridge the gap between good intentions and real, sustainable well-being & care for both the people you serve & the people doing the work.
